Myocardial infarction tips

Following is an email from the wife of Serra MD, a famous heart surgeon in Argentina (Dean of Cardiology). It is quite interesting. Please tell others.

A glass of water, two aspirins

Why take aspirin on the bedside table?

IMPORTANT!

An important note about the myocardial infarction.

There are other signs of heart attack before feeling pain in the upper left arm.

Watch out for severe pain in the lower jaw, nuseas and cold sweating as they are also common symptoms.

Detail: At the beginning of myocardial infarction you may not feel chest pain at all. 60% of people who had a heart attack while sleeping will not wake up.

However, a severe chest pain can wake one up from deep sleep.

If any of these conditions occurs, immediately take 2 aspirins with a little water.

Call emergency at once, and tell them you have taken 2 aspirins. Sit on a chair or sofa and wait for the arrival of an ambulance. DO NOT LIE DOWN!

A Cardiologist says if everyone who receives this can relate the message to 10 other people, there must be at least one life saved.

I have done my pert! Hope you do yours.
